At Prayer Post Office, bring your heart,
The tangled whole, each tender part.
No polished words, no grand display—
Our Father hears the prayers we pray.
No stamp can buy what grace has given;
No coin can earn a place in Heaven.
Upon the cross, our Savior stayed—
Through His atonement, sin’s debt paid.
Paid in full! What wondrous news!
What love for souls with much to lose!
The risen Christ has made the way;
His mercy welcomes us today.
Such kindness leads us to repentance,
Beyond regret or well-turned sentence.
We name our sin, release our pride,
And turn to walk with Him beside.
So say it, send it, let it go—
He knows the things you cannot show.
Surrender every anxious care;
Your Father meets you here in prayer.
Though answers sometimes take their time,
His love needs neither stamp nor rhyme.
Through tearful nights, His mercies stay;
His presence holds us on the way.
Upon that cross, our debt He paid;
Within the tomb, His body laid.
He rose! Through Him, the way is made—
Come home to God—Postage Paid.
At Prayer Post Office, hearts can rest
In Him who knows and loves us best.
Through Christ, our hope no grief destroys—
He meets us with His comfort and joy.
